The thing in the room was humanoid but green scaly and dead. As Percy bent over to examine the body it twitched and yelped at his sight. It scurried away on its back until he hit the wall. The thing protested saying he did nothing at all and that Kevin shouldn't have any business with him.

With a thud Percy slammed into the locked door breaking it open. He could tell that no one was alive who owned the house because he could enter without being let in. Percy is a vampyre. Vamyres must be invited in by a resident of the house to enter unless the residents are dead. he saw a small room with two dead people in it and a third man in the corner curled up in a ball.
